Automatic Weigher with Continuous Band Sealer

Automatic feed system reduces labour costs and increases accuracy!

This system includes a two, three or four lane linear weigher depending on your requirements for speed and accuracy. You can also choose from a small to extra large sized weigher depending on your required target weights.

This system also includes an automatic feed system which will reduce the amount of labour required to re-fill the weighing machine as well as increasing accuracy and efficiency.
Pricing is based on a standard sized two lane linear weigher capable of running 20g - 2kg of product at up to 20 weighs per minute1.

Labour Requirements

Optimal Number of Operators: x2

For best productivity this system requires 2 people to run the line.
Filler / Packer
Fills the automatic feed hopper as required.
Operates the linear weigher using a foot pedal to dispense product into the pre-made packaging and then places the filled packaging onto the band sealer.

Note: This line can be operated and run with just one operator, however speed and overall throughput will be greatly reduced.

How it Works

  • Vibratory Feeder Filling

    Vibratory Feeder Filling

    An operator deposits raw product into the automatic vibratory feed hopper as required.

  • Product is Transported to the Elevator

    Product is Transported to the Elevator

    Product is transported to the elevator. The speed and flow can be controlled by adjusting the vibratory feed hopper's vibration amplitude and by adjusting the height of the gate to allow more or less product through as required. The vibratory feed hopper and elevator are automatically controlled to start and stop as required preventing overfilling.

  • Elevator Discharges to Linear Weigher

    Elevator Discharges to Linear Weigher

    The elevator transports product up to the linear weigher and deposits into the hopper as required. Sensors placed on the linear weigher hopper detect when the hopper is full and stop the vibratory feed hopper and elevator to prevent product overflowing. The vibratory feed hopper and elevator restart automatically to maintain an efficient level of product inside the linear weigher at all times.

    Linear Weigher Weighs Product

    The linear weigher then vibrates product into the weigh hoppers at the end of each lane until they reach the target weight. The touch screen control panel gives access to adjust the settings on each lane to control accuracy and speed.

  • Manual Fill from Linear Weigher

    Manual Fill from Linear Weigher

    When one of the lanes on the linear weigher is ready to dispense, an operator offers up an empty bag or pouch and presses the foot pedal. The linear weigher will then release the product into the bag and begin to refill ready for the next bag.

  • Place Filled Pack on Band Sealer

    Place Filled Pack on Band Sealer

    An operator manually deposits a filled pack onto the continuous band sealer conveyor so it can be sealed.
